Art, music, dance, puppet theater, these are all unique ways of giving the special child a chance to express herself or himself and develop as a human being in mind, in body — I say this based on my work using music and dance since 1994 with the mission of inclusion of people of all disabilities in the cultural life of the community, first as an individual (1994 – 98)in Washington, DC and then (1999 – present) in Montana through a nonprofit organization of dance and music instructors working mainly with the 3 – 19 age group of individuals.
