- Poha – 1 cup
- Honey – little
- Palm jaggery – little
- Red banana – 1
Wash poha well and soak in water for half an hour. Then squeeze out the water and add poha to a mixer. Add jaggery, honey and banana to it. Pour very little water and grind it to a smooth paste. This can be given to kids above 1 year once a day.
Apple – 1 peel skin and grated
Poha – 4 tablespoon dry roast and grind to a fine powder
Milk – 2 cups
Water – 1 cup
Palm sugar – 1 tbspoon
Take grated apple in a pan and saute it till the water in it evaporates. This take around 3 mins.
Then add the powdered Aval and mix well.
Pour milk and mash it well.
Add palm sugar and mix everything well.
Then add water and allow the contents to cook well. At last add ghee.
Any type of Aval can be used to make this recipe

- Grated coconut_ 2 Tblspoons
- Cardamom powder_ 1pinch
- Jaggery powder_2 tbl spoon
Wash the Aval once, just to clean it.
Then soak it in warm water for 10 to 15 mins.
Add pinch of salt,powdered jaggery,cardamom powder and grated coconut.
Healthy Sweet Snack is ready to feast our kids coming from the school.
Immunity Aval can be substituted with other Aval varieties like Black rice(Karuppu Kavuni), Diabetic/Arthirites ( Kattuyanam), Normal Aval or Poha
