आलस्यं हि मनुष्याणां
शरीरस्थो महान् रिपुः |
नास्त्युद्यमसमो बन्धुः
कृत्वा यं नावसीदति ||

  2. namastE, SReemati! Thank you for the wonderful quotation. I think there is a typographical error in the last word of the first line (actually the second pAdam of the SlOkam) of the samskR^ta version. The Roman script version is fine, I think. It should be महान् रिपुः instead of महान्रिपु .
